Save Big This Holiday: Your Guide to Smart Amazon Shopping

Are these Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and holiday deals really worth it, or are they just a sales trick?

Let’s find out how to check for yourself

    • 1

    Go to Amazon.com

Start at the Amazon homepage. You’ll see banners for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and holiday offers. This is where most people start browsing without knowing if the prices are truly discounted.

    • 2

    Explore Holiday Deals

Click the Holiday Deals tab. You’ll find featured categories like Electronics, Home & Kitchen, Fashion, and more. This is where you can spot “limited time deals” but not all of them are as good as they seem.

    • 3

Find the Product You’re Interested In

Pick an item you’ve had your eye on (in this example, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds). Take a look at the sale price and the “Limited-time deal” tag.

    • 4

    Copy the Product Link

Highlight the product link from your browser and copy it. You’ll use this to check the price history.

    • 5

    Go to camelcamelcamel.com

This free website tracks Amazon’s price history and shows whether a deal is truly a deal.

    • 6

    Paste the Amazon Link

Paste your copied link into the search bar where it says “Find Amazon Products.”

    • 7

Look for the “Best Price” Indicator

If you see “Best Price” in green, that’s a good sign, it means this is one of the lowest prices recorded.

    • 8

    Check the Price History Chart

Scroll down and look at the chart to see when the item was last discounted. If the price often drops to this level (or lower), you can wait. But if this is the lowest point all year, it’s a solid buy.

    Make Your Decision

For the Bose earbuds example, the price dropped from $299 to $199, the lowest ever recorded. That’s a genuine deal, not a sales trick.

    Final Tip

Before you checkout, always compare the product’s average price vs its current sale price on camelcamelcamel.com It’s a small step that can save you hundreds during the holiday season.

Hope this helps you decide which deals are worth jumping on and which ones to skip!

  • Real Estate Exam: Check

Finally! I passed my real estate exam, and I can finally say I’m on to the next task on my list. The process was fun, even though I got distracted along the way.

(As you can see from my previous posts)

I’m excited to move forward and show you all what else I have in store along with my real estate adventure!

    Let’s start building, baby! Blog

  • By Unanimous Decision

Thailand was an unforgettable trip. My bro Christian stayed behind to grind for his next fight.

From what I heard that training camp was no joke. Honestly, I think he would’ve stayed even longer if he could, but he made it back just in time for the big fight.

I was so pumped to see him in the ring! Here’s a little home video shot on a 2005 Sony Handicam.

    Enjoy! Blog

  • Thailand: A Trip to Remember

Lately I’ve been traveling more. My most recent stop was Thailand, a place I’ll never forget. The people were incredibly kind, the food was yummy, and cheap too.

Being there reminded me how fortunate I am. So many parts of the world adapt English into their languages, which makes traveling and connecting so much easier.

I’d love to go back someday, especially to spend more time exploring Bangkok. Blog

  • Celebrating Mario and Liz’s Baby

Life has a funny way of bringing people back together.

This past weekend, I attended a baby shower that felt like stepping into a time machine.

After years, I reunited with familiar faces. It was a reunion that didn’t need heavy words, just a nod, a laugh, and shared memories.

Seeing Mario and Liz happy, preparing for Sara Marina, was truly beautiful.

Thank you for inviting me to celebrate this new chapter! Blog

  • Motion Over Noise

    There’s strength in moving quietly.

I’m getting closer to where I need to be, little, by little. It’s like planting an apple seed. It will take time to grow, but when it does, it will bring lasting results.

Every small effort and connection I’m making now is intentional. I’m not chasing quick wins. I’m focused on building something stable, sustainable, and meaningful for the long term.

It also helps to have fun along the way. Blog

  • From the Streets to the Vase

On my daily walks, I started noticing just how many beautiful flowers bloom around my neighborhood.

This year, I’m skipping the store and creating a DIY arrangement for Mother’s Day.

Thoughtful, beautiful, and free. Sometimes the best gifts come from the heart and the sidewalk.

    Paying for flowers?

That’s a scam. Watch how I do it. Blog

  • A New Kind of Weekend

Some weekends unfold in ways you don’t expect, a walk turns into inspiration, a door opens to something new, and tacos somehow show up at the end.

Lately, my weekends have been less about routine and more about quiet shifts.

This one felt different. I’m not rushing to explain it… but I think it’s the start of something. Blog
